We flew to Arusha on Kenya Airways out of JFK through Nairobi. Unfortunately, their affiliate airline, Precision Air, decided to cancel the flight to Arusha because it was not a full flight. We were supposed to have a two hour layover which became a 14 hour layover with the new flight leaving at 12:15a.m. (Yes, you read that right). We got to the hotel at 3:00 a.m. and had to be ready to leave at 8:00. Looking at other flights that they ran, they had cancellations left and right. They are Africa’s version of Spirit Airlines. As a matter of fact, the Kenya Airways person that helped with check-in warned us that there were lots of issues with luggage not arriving when Precision is involved. They refer to them as Imprecise Airways.
