My wife and I are part of the tour in in May. Look forwad to it but struggling to figure how to pack enough for 12 days or so and still stay within luggage weight guidelines. We are arriving day early leaving JFK may 8 on SA.
I traveled Namibia and CapeTown for 2 weeks with only one small rolling duffel. Two pair of long zip off pants did the trick for day time. You can wash them easily. A fuzzy jacket and always silk long underware took care ofthe cooler times. Pack a nylon jacket too. For evening I wore black capris and several colorful tops with a white shirt and some nice sandals. No one is looking around the see who is making a fashion statement. I never felt undressed either.
Make life simple. You do not need much AND you can easily get laundry done in the hotels.
