Laundry September 12 2014 Budapest to Bucharest.

This is our first river cruise and my wife is concerned about getting laundry done while on the boat. We know that it is available at the hotels. but not sure while cruising on the river.

Hi Rick & Martha,

The riverboats do offer a laundry service, but not dry cleaning. I haven't used the service personally, but by all accounts it ain't cheap! If you search these threads, you will find a price list (perhaps not current now, though). But in the great scheme of things, it's all relative.

I returned from that trip a few weeks ago. It was a great trip. But the laundry was very expensive. I don't remember the exact amounts but felt it was more than I wanted to spend. I got by without doing laundry.
