England tour 2013 - Looking for name of the private estate in Lake District
My wife and I took the tour in the spring of 2013. We have photos from a beautiful private estate where we were entertained at lunch by the owners and their son. This was just after leaving Scotland, past Hadrian's Wall, and I think before we hit Grassmere later in the afternoon.
We cannot find mention of this stop in the current itineraries and would like some help if anyone can remember.
Note that this was the day BEFORE Levens Hall with their fabulous topiary gardens.
We'd be happy to share photos to jog your memory!

"Castletown House overlooking the River Eden."
Address: Rockcliffe, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 4BN
It is the residence of Giles and Penelope Mounsey-Heysham. At the time we visited in July 2013 Giles was in London on business so their younger son Rory joined Penelope hosting us. Here is a link to their website.
You should have stopped there after Hadrian's Wall and before Grasmere/Dove Cottage. Is this it?
