Scotland and Ireland: Back to Back
Booked Tauck Scotland tour end of July followed by Tauck 14 day Ireland tour; however, we have 5 days between tours. Our plan is to fly from Edinburg to Dublin and have tentatively engaged C.I.E for a private car and driver/guide to see sites not on Ireland tour; will stay in Dublin for 4 days and then have driver take us to Ennis to join up with the Ireland tour. Is anyone familiar with C,I.E. for private travel? Would appreciate any comments. Any recommendations for pubs in Dublin area? Any security concerns, etc.?
