Any thoughts on how to protect against mosquito bites. Taking my 12 year old on July 24. Should I cancel?

If you think she might be pregnant, then I would definitely cancel.
Wear long sleeved clothing and long pants rather than shorts and spray exposed skin with repellent. The Zika carrying mosquitos are active during the day too.

The CDC has information on avoiding mosquito bites here:
http://www.cdc.gov/features/StopMosquitoes/index.html
There is more information on Zika, as well.
