Footwear for Grand Canadian Rockies.

I would appreciate any feedback from people who have taken this tour in May. Do you think it is necessary to take hiking boots or is it sufficient to wear good waterproof shoes.

Thank you for that information. I think mine tour starts about a week earlier than yours but the weather should be similar. Can always check the internet before I go. I was thinking more about hiking and if there was still much snow. But your blog seems to indicate that walking was not a problem.
