I take it from the Tauck website that people dress for dinner. But, if i'm walking to dinner in the rain on cobblestones, i don't want to be wearing heels!
Do we typically walk to the restaurant for dinner, or?
What footwear do women wear for dinner?

    I usually wear black flats to dinner.

    Most all the included dinners are in your hotel so little or no outside walking. The only exceptions I see are Oxford and Bath. Like MCD on most tours I wear nice flats.
