Change in Days 9 and 16
We are taking this tour in February 2025 and just received this update on the itinerary.
On Day 9, we will forgo our “Rags to Riches” walking tour in Sydney in favor of an exploration of
the city’s culinary treats on an “Ultimate Sydney Foodie Tour.” Highlights will include a beer
tasting, gelato sampling and a tasting tour at the new Sydney Fish Market. Currently under
construction with a planned opening date later this year, the new Sydney Fish Market is a
ground-breaking project costing some $800 million AUD and covering an area the size of three
football fields. The venue, in the words of one media report, is viewed as “Sydney’s most
significant harbourside building since the Opera House” and it will house a wide array of upscale
eateries.
∙ On Day 16, we have shifted our lunch venue from the Kinross Winery to Ayrburn, a new and
highly acclaimed center for winemaking and gastronomy outside of Queenstown, NZ, where you’ll
enjoy a wine-pairing lunch.
