Switzerland: Europe’s Crown Jewel

We are going in September 2025 on the Switzerland: Europe’s Crown Jewels tour. Does anyone have suggestions for a post trip of 2-3 nights somewhere? Does anyone suggest one of the trains, like the Glacier Express or the Bernina Express? Would that be repetitive? The trip ends in Zurich,so we can fly ( or take the train) anywhere.

    Chsgirl, I think you have posted this on the Japan forum in error. You can delete it by clicking on the cogwheel in the right hand corner of your message and start over.

    Coincidentally we did the Switzerland trip with Tauck a few years ago and are going on the Essence of Japan next year, so I saw your post. One of our favourite places was Lugano and there is a little town further down the lake called Gandria where friends of ours who are Swiss spent their honeymoon. So that might be an idea for a few days. Otherwise i would recommend Bellagio on Lake Como and depending on your budget try and fit in a trip across the lake and have lunch at Villa D'este.
