Anyone going on this trip? I am a solo traveler ..senior citizen from the east coast of Florida. Looking forward to my first trip to Italy..but have traveled the world.. What will you be doing on the days that we have free time...and it seems we have a few free days. Lookng forward to meeting my new travel companions. Judi

    You should inform the Tour Director that you are a solo traveler and would like very much to be introduced to other solo travelers. It might be possible that the TD can designate a table for solo guests. Also, there are pickpockets in Italy. It’s best to conceal your money and credit cards in an inside zippered pocket of a jacket or raincoat. As a world traveler you may be aware of them from previous tours.

    I usually travel solo. I have never had a TD designate a table for solo guests, nor would I want him or her to do so. Other travelers have always been welcoming. You are never treated as a second-class citizen! Have a wonderful trip, Judi.
