Liners for boots

A question for those whom have done this tour—besides socks, did you take liners, boot inserts, or anything like this for the muck boots?

    We wore 2 pairs of socks - one thin and one thermal winter socks. That was enough.

    j used. boot liners, but my wife preferred just a couple pair of socks. You might go to REI and try them to see what you like. I think the deciding factor was my wife’s boots were a fairly close fit, and my boots were somewhat looser, so the liners worked better for me.

    I just wore one pair of heavy socks.
