Crazy question....Is it safe to drink the water in Kenya and Tanzania or does Tauck provide bottled water?

    Only use the water that Tauck provides like British said even to brush your teeth.

    I cover the faucets in Africa with a face cloth or one of my socks as a reminder not to use the tap water. Tauck provides all the water you will need.

    They even warn you to be careful to not get water in your mouth when you shower. The ice in the hotels is said to be made with bottled water. We have used the ice without a problem.

    You can also use an elastic band or hair tie for the tap.
    For teeth brushing, fill a tumbler with bottled water, brush teeth, rinse mouth, swish toothbrush round in remaining water—-saves the chance of running out of water
