Question about the slip on shoes...
I don't understand this- when you get on the jeep do you have to take your shoes off? At what point do you need to slip them back on? Do you stand on the seats with your shoes? Are they different shoes then what you got onto the vehicle in? I'm very confused on this one :-)

You take your shoes off if you want to stand on the seats. That's why slip on shoes are easier. They are the same shoes you wear onto the vehicle
It is not necessary to have slip on shoes. Most people take their shoes off and keep them off until you get back to the lodge. So as long as you are able to bend down and tie laces easily, it’s ok to have either style of shoe.
The ugly Crocs can work rather well for an easy slip in, slip out option. Plus, you can wash them. I would wear them with socks in Africa. Your shoes will get very dirty. For me, it’s a pain to constantly tie shoes multiple times a day. My husband loves the Sketchers slip ins.
Twice a day, two safaris most days. Never seen anyone in something like crocs. I always wash shoes we have taken to Africa. Best to avoid pale colors as the red dirt can stain
I have traveled all over including Africa ;In the last several trips I traveled with Jungle Moc Merrell slip on sturdy but comfortable shoes.I still have the same pair ready to travel with me. Highly recommend trying a pair and you won’t be sorry!
