Any need for a bathing suit on the cruise?
We are about a week away and I am starting to think about how to pack.
I assume casual, comfortable clothing (slacks, shorts) for touring, and a few nicer outfits for the evenings.
Do folks get dressed up for dinners on the ship?

No suit required unless using the hot tub. Casual clothes for the days. You might need a light windbreaker on the coast. Dinner is dressier. As a man at minimum a pair of dress chinos and a button down. I do bring a travel blazer.
I rarely take a swim suit when traveling since I much prefer to be out and about exploring. If adding days in the anchor cities, you might consider taking one. The pools on the boats are quite small and not conducive for swimming laps.
Your planned attire choices sound perfect. Mix and match outfits are best and will cut down on packing. We enjoy fine dining on our pre-and-post tour days, so we plan accordingly for that. My husband always takes a suit jacket. I do suggest a light rain jacket, preferably one with a hood. The hotels and boat have umbrellas so there is no need to bring one.
Keep checking the weather forecasts, especially the temperatures.
