Converters / Chargers
Hi! Please provide guidance on what type of charger to bring for Tanzania and Kenya. Was it easy to charge in the mobile lodge?

What are you charging? Something like an iPhone or a computer? Esentially all of those have chargers that work from 100 volts to 250 volts, 50 Hz or 60Hz. If that's what you have, all you need is a plug adapter for the local electrical outlets.
Kenya and Tanzania used Type G electrical plugs, same as England uses. Amazon has some great adapters that provide you several US outlets as well as USB A and C outlets. We got a two pack for less than $20. All we needed for our stuff. These are just adapters, not current converters, I.e., 240v to 110v.
Just returned yesterday from a Tauck Great Migration that also included walking with gorillas in Rwanda. All the resorts we stayed in while in Kenya and Tanzania had multiple plugs in the rooms. We also ordered and used the two pack of type G plugs from Amazon mentioned by Kasootripper1. They worked great because you could also plug multiple other devices into these plugs. However, what we also found in all these resorts is that the outlets were a universal type that accepted multiple types of plugs.
