Tauck small ship Italy?

Hi we are looking at doing a cruise along the Italian and Croatia coast - many companies available including Tauck. Any experiences with their small ships? It appears they do not own them.

No, Tauck does not own those ships. For ocean going, it seems that they use Ponant. I've been on two Ponant ships and they're not bad. They're smaller ships than some ocean cruise ships, even the middle size ocean ships like Regent or Silversea.
Actually, I think it is part of the Tauck business plan to ‘own’ nothing. They don’t own buses, riverboats, small ships … they may own the home office. For small ship cruises Tauck uses Ponant, Windstar, Silversea, and sometimes Princess … which is not really a small ship. So pick a cruise and pick a ship and some of us can tell you about it.
