Queenstown casual restaurant recommendation

  On our tour we had two independent dinners in Queenstown. One night we dined at the Pub on the Wharf - very casual. The other evening, we ate at Madam Woo, much nicer.

  We ate a dinner at QT hotel in Queenstown where we stayed with Tauck last Feb 2025.
  Excellent food and service.

  We ate at Madame Woo and had a lovely dinner. Also try Fergberger for lunch after the jetboat/helicopter adventure. It is only a block away from the Sofitel. Don't be put off by the line, it moves quickly. We knew when our order was ready using their app and walked over to pick up our order and ate it back at the hotel.

  Another vote for Madam Woo! It’s popular though so you may want to make reservations in advance. We also did the same thing as cdolohanty on the helicopter day - picked up lunch from Fergburger and headed back to the hotel where we found a table to sit and eat.

  Agree on Madam Woo and Fergburger! Gelato shop next to Fergburger is also good.
