Luggage situation

Please, help me to understand how this luggage situation works! For the international flight, we can take " normal " amount of luggage. We will be in Delhi for 3-4 days and start flying domestic after. We have that Tauck's' duffel to pack and small carry on...but where will be the rest of the luggage if we are not coming back to Delhi? Also, majority of the trip we will be traveling domestic, so do we even need to pack more than duffel back? We traveled through Africa with just a duffel bag and i don't have an issue to pack accordingly, but this " transfer" of luggage is very confusing. I should add that we will be traveling first time with Tauck. Thank you all!

    If I remember correctly, we only used the duffels when we went to the most southern part of India. The suitcases went to Mumbai and we met them when we returned from the south.

    @MikeHenderson precisely, which basically means that if i have an extra luggage i will only be using it for 4 days in Delhi. When i called Tauck, she told me that my "extra" luggage will be following me everywhere...which seems unrealistic to me.
