Antarctica - January 24, 2027 - FLIGHT Question
Hi All! I just booked Antarctica for Jan 2027 and am looking at flights. I am looking at Delta and would fly from Boston with a 3hr44min layover in Miami. My question is for the return flight home from Buenos Aires to Boston. The best option would be to return via JFK and the 2 layover options are either 2hr29mins or 5hrs. Could I make my connection in 2.5 hrs?? I have never been to the JFK airport or connected through there. Also, I would be in business class. Thanks so much!!!

In my opinion two and a half hours is plenty of time to connect in New York. My personal minimum is an hour and a half.

I'm generally conservative and would take the longer wait time. You will need to go through customs and immigration in NY. JFK is a very large airport. It's probable that you will need to change terminals and they're not walkable as in Boston. You are also in prime snow season in both NYC and Boston. If you miss the connection, it's likely that they will be able to get you on a later flight as long as you arrive early in the day. You need to determine what risk you will take.
