K&T classic safari rain gear for June
I see rain is in the forecast for June. Do I just need to pack a good lightweight rain poncho or do I need a heavier rain coat or are rain coverings provided if it rains? Trying to save space in my duffel and pack as light as possible. Thank you for suggestions.

We brought a light rain jacket and just layered for cooler mornings.
We take rain gear onto any tour. Doesn’t take up any room. Duffles are huge. The rains must be late this year. Mostly you are in the vehicles and it it is rainy I guess they will keep the roof closed, just getting from your room to the vehicle might be muddy. We had terrific rains in December/January one year when they ended later than normal. Incredible thunder storms and flooded roads. We saw a bedraggled male lion, elephants frolicking in it and a mom leopard with six soaked cubs etc. Very different than usual
