Would slacks, blazer, and tie be appropriate attire for the Royal Gallery?

    Hi Annbeall,
    I was at the Tattoo last year(twice) as part of the Week in Scotland and England, Scotland, Wales tours and loved it, but did not sit in the Royal Gallery.

    This is from the Royal Gallery Reception Ticket page:

    "Please note, The Royal Gallery dress code is strictly Dress Uniform, National Dress, Evening Dress, or Business Attire. Jeans, short trousers, and sport shoes are not permitted. The dress code reflects the VIP status of The Royal Gallery that regularly plays host to guests including British Royalty, foreign Heads of State, and senior politicians, and military personnel."

    There is also a website link on the page if you have any questions. No matter where you sit, it can be windy and cool.
