We are headed out soon on our small ship cruise and wondering which adapters we need for the ship, Le Bougainville

Malta was British colony for many years and the British left them with that miserable type G electrical plug. On the ship, I think it was type C for 230 volts and they had a few American type outlets. I bought a few of those multi-country travel adapters and found them useful. Here's one. Many companies make them. https://www.amazon.com/World-International-Travel-Adapter-Ceptics/dp/B08112XB28/?th=1

instead of buying multiple adapters you can buy a travel size extension cord which has space for plugs and phone usb, you just need one adapter plug for the extension cord. This can be useful when the plug is in a low or akward place, plug it in and put it in a more convenient place for all your needs.
