Question about small ship Le Dumont D'Urville

We are considering the trip to St Petersburg on this small ship. The only room available is next to the elevator. Can anyone who has experience with this situation comment on noise level, foot traffic noise, etc. Thanks.

    We are looking at this too but not until 2020. What I like about it is that it includes the days before and after in Copenhagen and Stockholm. I do not know the answer to your question but it would not stop us from booking.
