Anyone else on this trip? As a solo traveler, I’m looking forward to visiting Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City for the first time!

Just wondering how was the weather on this departure? Thinking about this timing for next year.

Fall is perfect. It's getting harder and harder to predict weather accurately, however. Layering is the best. No heavy outer garments are necessary in my opinion. For fall touring, my attire consists of merino/cashmere for warmth and comfort, leggings (not gym wear), slacks, vests and a water repellent jacket with removable liner and hood. We enjoy fine dining so appropriate attire for the venue is our preference.

We were on the 9/15 departure. The weather was VERY warm in Toronto -- Ottawa -- Montreal. Low 80's. Unseasonably warm -- but unusual weather seems to be more and more the case these days. Many men wore shorts. Some women wore capris with sandals. Quebec was much cooler and extremely windy. For Quebec a scarf and jacket with a hood would be a good idea. We did not have a drop of rain.

In 2018, the farewell dinner was at the Fairmont Frontenac; an amazing prime rib dinner was offered. I highly recommend post-tour days.
