I'm using this website to monitor the levels at Bratislava and Budapest: https://www.danubehis.org/results/SK5127_HYDRO?symbol[h]=h I just don't know what to view as a minimum level for the boat at any of the locations. Good for observing a trend, however. We are arriving in Munich a day early as well. I hope it goes as planned and we can toast our good fortune.

I scheduled for the same riverboat cruise as you. As far as I can determine, the river level situation is critical, however a little rain can make the rivers passable again.

A Viking riverboat has to be evacuated a few days ago on the Danube, but it was quite a distance downriver from Budapest in Bulgaria.

All I can say is that Tauck will do everything possible to have the sailing, and we will have to wait and see what happens with the weather,

My plan is to get to Munich one day early, which happens to be the last day of the Oktoberfest,, If you are interested in joining me, let me know.
