We flew business class on Qatar for recent Wildlife Odyssey trip. The Hamad International Airport (HIA) is amazing and you will indeed have access to the Al Mourjan lounge (not to be confused with the Al Haha lounge which seems to cater to coach). You can either walk or take the inside train/shuttle to get closer to Al Mourjan. You will be asked to see your business class ticket(s) before allowed to take the elevator to the lounge. After exiting the elevator you might find a long courtesy desk against the far wall, and most of the facilities you'll find exiting to the left side of the expansive floor. We checked our carryon bags in lockers available at no cost or time commitment. We took advantage of the restaurant section, whereby you can order from the menu or walk over to the buffet area. We also had a roughly 9 hour layover, which gave us plenty of time to walk around, see the various "sculptures" plus walk through the Orchard which contains many live trees and plants.

We did not take advantage of the sleep pods section, as it did not appear to provide much privacy. We also did not check out the spa or shower facilities but I would venture that you will have privacy rooms. The suggestion I was made aware of was to take your own soap and/o shampoo rather than rely on what they provide. The airport we felt was pretty amazing, a bit of a combination of Las Vegas, Disneyland and Rodeo Drive (i.e high end shopping available. There is a hotel at the airport called the Oryx, but we thought the cost might be hard to justify unless we overnighted there. From Doha we flew direct to Cape Town, over nighted there, before our flight the next morning to Victoria falls. Our goal was to avoid Johannesburg and its wild wild west reputation.
