Similar on my heli copter ride over Kilauea. The pilot circled and banked in both directions. It's about sightseeing and not getting from point A to B in the shortest time :)1 -

When on a cruise, I always take the stairs. Besides crowded elevators, a good way to work off some of the food excess. Even the big ships where it's 14 stories to the top!3 -
