One bit if advice: don’t walk out of your room with any food in your hands. This will attract monkeys or baboons very quickly. They will try to grab the food out of your hands. I saw it happen twice on our trips.

  Laundry is not expensive. I can't remember the exact cost. We had it charged to our room and paid with a credit card when we checked out

  You take your shoes off if you want to stand on the seats. That's why slip on shoes are easier. They are the same shoes you wear onto the vehicle
