Zanzibar - Clothes to wear

Wondering what to wear in Zanzibar. We will be done with Safari's and it will be warm and tropical. Is a sundress appropriate or better to wear capri's and top? Are mosquitoes an issue in this area? Is there a 'farewell dinner' and if so, is it completely casual dress also?

    It’s a Muslim country so be very conservative with your dress, keep your shoulders and knees covered.

    I agree with British. We wore our safari dri-fit pants and shirts all the while on our recent Tanzania-Zanzibar trip last week;even for dinner. Some of the women did wear capri's and conservative tops for dinner in Zanzibar.
    Mosquitoes were not an issue;but we always wore insect repellent and no perfume during the entire trip.

    Capri and tops worked great and sundress for the last evening! Be sure to bring bathing suit!! Most of the people on our tour swam at all 3 hotels with pools!! Nice after a dusty safari and relaxing and cooled us down!
