Shore excursions

in Yuletide Spirit: Brussels to Amsterdam

I chose thé Zaanse/Schans rather than Rijksmuseum because I’ve been to rijksmuseum before and I’d prefer to be outside. Even in December. Does anyone have any comments on that excursion. Thanks very much.

    We've been to Zaanse/Schans but on our own not part of a Tauck excursion. We enjoyed it. It reminded me of Colonial Williamsburg where you walk around the different buildings and can enter some. Hopefully Tauck includes the option. There are also some shops and restaurants in case you get cold. I think too there is a museum.

    I'm glad you posted this, Thomas. It made me realize I've been looking at my 2024 brochure in which the Rijksmuseum is not indicated as an option. I'm delighted it shows for our 2023 cruise. I never tire of going there.

    I think you will be very satisfied with the windmills. We were so surprised to see how large they were. If the wind kicks in, it will be bitterly cold. Have a great trip.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
