Impact of Israel/Iran conflict on air travel
We have flights scheduled on Qatar Air through Doha for our upcoming trip for the Mountain Gorilla Safari on July 9th. I understand Qatar Air has been affected by this conflict, canceling some flights and having to reroute others to avoid overflying Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The flights into Doha from the US are not cancelled currently, but may take longer. That would impact our connecting flight to Tanzania. Hope this is all cleared up before our trip. Have to keep a watch on this potential problem.

We just have to wait and see and pray for it all to stop. Just before we flew that route last year, there was the exact same situation and Qatar were flying longer routes. We are also flying Qatar in October on the way to Madagascar. Be sure to wear a safari outfit on the plane and pack at least one extra in you carry on as we had a bag miss a flight once and another time they forgot to load a bag and it was MIA for four days. It’s still our favorite airline.
