New wildfire outside of Banff 9/25

Apparently a wildfire outside of Banff this a.m. (9/4/25) reported as "out of control." We are supposed to fly to Calgary in two days. This is a rescheduled tour as we were cancelled bc of wildfires in Jasper last year.

    We were in Jasper a couple years ago on tour when fires broke out. We biked into town from the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and watched helicopters swoop down to gather water from the lakes to put the fires out. It was alarming, and sad, to watch these beautiful Canadian forests smolder and burn. Our group left the next day for Banff......
