On the death of the iconic Jane Goodall this week, we were reminded about when we were on the Tauck Bridges Safari tour in July 2024 when we discovered Jane was at the hotel by the pool talking with a group of documentary people. They were filming in the grounds of the hotel. My husband was able to have a conversation with her while I looked on. I’ve never seen him so excited about meeting someone. He has always loved wildlife, as have I. We both watched so many wildlife documentaries from childhood onwards. Our ambition now…to bump into David Attenborough.😀
