Comparing Yellowstone and Grand Teton tours: any info?
We are looking at three tours that cover Yellowstone and Grand Tetons (Yellowstone and Grand Teton Nat'l Parks, Yellowstone and the Tetons: American Safari, and Paradise Valley, Yellowstone and the Tetons). If anyone has taken any of these recently (last 3 years?) please give us your opinions. Wondering about the sites you see, the level of activity, the hotels and food, ancillary activities, Tauck special events, etc. Any info helpful in helping us decide. thanks in advance for your thoughts!

The tours to these areas seem to change names fairly frequently. We took one a few years ago that did not last long. We enjoyed the tour but two negative things I do recall. First, the tour director was the only tour director with Tauck who we have not enjoyed, several reasons including being lazy. We were not the only people on the tour to think this, in fact, those on their first Tauck tour were totally put off from traveling with Tauck again. Second, the Four Seasons used at the end of the tour in Jackson Hole was about a half hour drive out of town. We elected to stay on after the tour, not knowing it was so far out of town and costly to get there. There was another hotel right in the center of town that Tauck used on another tour in that area, we walked into the foyer and it looked fine. Can’t recall the name but we would have been happier staying there for convenience.
