Waitlist
Hi! I'm still new to Tauck (only 1 river cruise). We are interested in a 2027 Treasures of the Aegean but the dates we prefer are already booked. I was told there are no waitlists but from what I've read, that isn't necessarily true. If I can get on a waitlist, do they work? Only a few dates are sold out but given my work schedule, we'd have to push off the trip by 4 months. We were also told that if we book our trip, we can't transfer dates, is this also true? Trying to figure out what to do so we don't miss out!

Well, there are usually wait lists. And we have changed a departure date at least once for a tour with no penalty. Perhaps there are new rules
It has been quite some time, but I had no issues when being placed on a wait list for another set of dates opening up for a small group land tour. I also had no problem when changing a river cruise date, but that was long in advance of the departure date.
No penalty or issues when I changed tour dates as well, Tauck was easy and accommodating to work with.
Were you dealing directly with Tauck or through a travel agent? We have had no issues transferring dates.
Best bet is to speak with Tauck directly...........
