We are doing the Wildlife Adventure in July. This is a quote abt the Zimbabwe visa i received today from Tauck.
“ We are reaching out today with an important update regarding visa requirements for entry into
Zimbabwe during your journey. More specifically, as of February 27, 2026, Zimbabwe has
discontinued the double-entry visa option for U.S. passport holders. Because your itinerary
includes entry into Zimbabwe on Day 1 and a re-entry on Day 6 for your onward flight to South
Africa, you will require two entries into Zimbabwe during your travels.
The following is important information regarding this update:
∙
∙
While you may request a double-entry visa upon arrival in Zimbabwe, please note that
issuance of a double-entry visa is at the sole discretion of Immigration officials and
cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, and to avoid any risk to your Day 6 re-entry, we
recommend that you plan and budget for two single-entry visas.
If a double-entry visa is not available or approved at the time of arrival, you should be
prepared to obtain a second single-entry visa when re-entering Zimbabwe later in the
itinerary.
Please note that while visa regulations can change—sometimes with little notice—this letter
reflects the most current guidance available to us as of today. Should there be any updates, we
will be sure to share them with you promptly.”
