We took this tour in the second half of October 2023.
We had pleasant weather throughout the tour, but when we reached Santiago, the last stop on the tour they were experiencing a much colder than normal period. We ended up purchasing lightweight jackets for the two days we were there. None of the other stops on the tour required a jacket.
The water level at Iguazu Falls was 5-7X the normal water level. This made for a spectacular visit. I'm a waterfall guy (Ok, a bit quirky 😁) so I loved this. If this is a driver for your date selection then you should research historical water levels at Iguazu Falls as function of date.

We went in late January. Rio was very hot. Other than that the weather was pleasant.
