this is our first Tauck tour and I was wondering how others handled laundry? Send out using hotel service? or hand wash in sink? thank you for your help

My co-worker wants to do this tour and she ask me, if I knew the sights..., but I haven't gone with Tauck to Brazil, so not sure what the walking tour would cover... Our tour director emailed a week prior to tour about availability of pre-tour excursions in Rio with local agency Blumar. A 6 hour excursion "Santa Teresa with Portuguese Sweets" is $320 per person. Has anyone used this agency and taken this excursion?

Hotels: Rio de Janeiro - Belmond Copacabana Palace Located right on Copacabana Beach. An old, luxurious hotel with a lot of history. The Tauck rooms were on ocean facing suites in the newer wing. I read the tour description and Sam's itinerary of it but still would appreciate someone's opinion of the level or difficulty of the tour. Just returned from a Tauck tour labeled a 2 and it is clearly a 3, plus they had to up the Japan tour level. So my skepticism.
