First of all, pack wisely and have a wardrobe you can layer and mix and match and wear more than once. Then hopefully all you will need to wash is underwear. It’s up to you whether you get the hotels to launder everything as it can be expensive. You also have to be careful it will come back in time before you leave for the next hotel.

Pack a sink stopper as some hotels don’t have them. Also, I find that some hotel rooms/bathrooms don’t dry clothing quickly, I’m talking including underwear here. Even if you roll things up in a towel to get rid of more water.

We rarely need to do laundry apart from some underwear, even on three week tours, we have packing down to a fine art.

I really do not want to do laundry on my vacation especially when I can see or do something else. I need a break from so called domestic responsibilities while I’m away. it actually feels liberating. I do bring packets of detergent for handwashing easy to dry items. There is an exception that when we travel for a month, I will find a local laundromat and do a load or two of wash I also know how to pack without the worry of laundering clothes.
