Yellowstone - Other Activities

I am 82 and my wife is 77. I am in fairly good condition but my wife recently had spinal surgery. My wife has never seen Yellowstone or Tetons but I have. I think that she would enjoy scenic Snake River raft trip and sights of Yellowstone. However, at our age we no longer do horseback riding or bicycling. Does anyone know if there are other less active alternatives to horseback riding or cycling? We have been to Rapid City numerous times.

JRMR...check the tour's pace and activity level. These will give you an indication. Activities can be found in the itinerary details.....hiking, fly fishing, biking, horseback riding, river rafting. Hope this helps. There are several Yellowstone/Teton tours.

This is a FANTASTIC and GORGEOUS trip and the type of folks who participate are super fun and adventurous. I am a few decades younger than you and I DO NOT RIDE BIKES. For this activity - One of the ladies (more in your age range) and I rode with a local guide (the very definition of a dude) in his air-conditioned van and got a fantastic history lesson and had a GREAT TIME). I probably hiked when others had the opportunity to horseback ride. I love the national park tours and Tauck is AWESOME and SUPER THOUGHTFUL at ensuring age and/or fitness level do not detract from the opportunity to engage at your ability and enjoy your experience.
