Anyone going on the Best of the Canadian Rockies small group tour beginning August 28th, 2026?
Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for packing for this trip? I think layers will be the best advice, and, of course, we will check the weather temperatures before leaving. Are hiking boots and poles needed for any of the hikes and/or glacier experience? Thanks in advance.

A versatile, mix and match wardrobe that can be layered will handle the variable temperatures. Merino wool and cashmere are lightweight and provide superior warmth. A rain jacket, preferably one with a removable lining and hood, is all that is needed for outerwear. Sturdy shoes with good traction will suffice in my opinion. Hiking sticks are not needed unless you have mobility concerns.
We did the Grand Canadian Rockies tour, not this one.
