Thank you for publishing this part too. You know, even though I have only taken one river cruise with Tauck, I knew most of the information about Tauck because I read the terms and conditions before I booked and there have been several times over the years where both high and low water levels have affected their river cruises and consequently discussions here on the forum, though of course not to the extent and time lengths this year. Like I’ve said, I have always preferred land travel. Having said that, in recent years I’ve been on several one off departures on special sailings with Croisi Europe who are mentioned in the article and their terms seem reasonable.

    British,

I also read the fine print. I don’t like surprises. The land tours certainly have their advantages (we have taken 6 of them), but every now and then we like to watch the world go by. Btw, the Tauck/Ponant small ship tours are excellent. I can’t say the same for windstar.

    Hms

I think we are up to five Ponant cruises, yes we like them. Our favorite was the Arabian cruise before the wars began.
