#1 Best flight options
#2 Was told that there are great store to buy Safari Clothing in Cape Town...any Advice
#3 Going at least 1 day early..what should we see that isn't on the tour?

We just booked the Elegant Adventure for September 2015 but looked at air fare to get an idea. For us, in S. Florida, the best was British Air. Delta and S. African Air were also possible for us. Flights, in order of preference, South African, British Airways, then Delta
Clothing store, yes, thinking remember that store, but we arrived two days early so had time for a quick look at stores, think it was expensive and no better than any specialist store in US. Only 4 safari days on this tour I believe. September will be very cold on the morning game drives as we discovered, hats, gloves coats and they provide blankets in the jeeps until it gets warmer. Then you can peel off the layers. Fabulous lodges!
Sites before tour begins--- Kirstenbosch Gardens, fantastic views there, lovely walks and flowers. Really good gift shop. The free available hotel BMW and driver took and collected us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Christian Barnard Museum, also the museum people collect and return you in a car. Good craft market in the walking areas around the hotel. Fantastic tasting menu in Cape Grace hotel. Walking areas all around hotel area very relaxing, very safe. This tour is wonderful a lovely mixture of safari and culture.
