American canyons tour leaving May 30,2016

in America's Canyonlands
Wondering if folks get wet on river float down glen canyon. Want to avoid bring extra shoes etc. appreciate any reply from past travelers on this tour. Thanks.

    I went on this trip a few years ago in August. It was a beautiful smooth trip on a sunny day. A light jacket was all that was needed. No one got wet. This is a wonderful trip. It might be a little cooler in May so you might want to check the temps. at the various parks as to what to wear.

    We just got back from April trip. You might possibly get some spray from the river if you sit out on the pontoons, but these rafts are pretty high in the water and you shouldn't need any special shoes. A light windbreaker is all you'll need. It's a beautiful trip down Glen Canyon.
