The first change to our 8 day trip was the cancellation of the Red Cliffs lodge near Moab due to renovations. A Hilton in town replaced it for the 3 nites. Though not announced yet, the Grand Canyon Lodge has been destroyed or at least badly damaged by fires this week. In each case, these were "inside the Park" lodgings…
Just returned,fantastic trip. We are travelling shortly on this tour. Any suggestions for clothing with both the warm and colder mountain sights? Do you need to dress up for dinner?

Sequoia National Park has been closed for the past month due to fires and looks like by the time our trip starts on the 11th of October it will continue to be closed. What's the plan? Will the trip be cancelled or will it be modified? If modified, how? Please advise.
I'm on Canyonlands at the end of this week - but I'm sure my concerns apply to all those visiting National Parks - especially those who will be staying in NPS lodges....for tours already underway and those upcoming that span 10/1.... Hoping that Tauck announces their contingency plans and/or cancellations tomorrow…
