Luggage Weight
I have another question. I've read on the forum that in J'Burg you can leave any heavy luggage with a Tauck representative for the flights to Victoria Falls because of the weight restriction 44 checked 15 carry on for these flights.
What about the flights from Cape Town to Kruger and then on to J'Burg? Is the weight restriction different on these flights? Or are they assuming you will be carrying extra weight only out of J'Burg because you went on a shopping spree there?

I note it is a 12 day tour so it is not long and most is safari, so you don’t need many ‘dress up’ clothes.
Yes, the weight restriction is different for the flights between J-berg and Victoria Falls. Smaller planes. My husband and I travel carry-on-only everywhere and never have to check bags -- but even our duffels had to be checked for the flight. You are only in VF for a very short time so you don't need much.
