We did this trip last year. We didn't find it dirty, but there is no air conditioning and the rooms are small. The hotel is in a national park so the advantage is to be able to stay inside the park.
The Inn is not dirty, just very RUSTIC. It is very old, but well maintained. Rooms are small, and bathrooms/showers as well, but beds are comfortable. We visit national parks for the nature and adventure, so we give up the Ritz to have a view of Old Faithful from our room.
