As a retired Flight Attendant, no one comes out a winner after a strike/ work stoppage. I've been through several strikes in my career with Ozark, TWA, and finally American. After serving the public for 33 years at 35,000 feet, it's not the same world we grew up in. On a more positive note, keep exploring and traveling....it's a 🎁 gift!
Perhaps we flew together. I’m a retired American Captain, 727, 737, 757, 767, MD11. I was actually paid by five airlines and flew under contract for another five. I was also a Captain on the DC-8 for several airlines. I was also an AirCal pilot so I understand some of your pain. I never voted for a strike, but I experienced several. It’s a lose lose proposition. Even when you win, you never earn back the loss.
