Small ship cruising, Drinks Included?
Would like to know if drinks are included with a Tauck tour on a Ponant ship. Talking about beer and wine with meals . I assume liquor are not included

All drinks are included apart from just a few top shelf liquors
We have done enough of these trips on Ponant to notice a not so subtle difference. Tauck purchases the “premium drink package” for the Tauck guests … on trips that are not ‘full boat charters’. If it is a tour on a shared ship that makes a difference. But, if it is a full boat charters what we get is the ‘standard’ drink package that all Ponant guests get. They put away the Makers Mark and the Veurve Cliquot. Sorry about my spelling. But, on a full boat charters you get Jack Danials and a lesser quality Champagne. I have been intending to talk to Tauck about that.
SeaLord , that is funny, because on the Norwegian Fiords cruise in July, an all Tauck one, my husband remarked that there was no Verve Cliquot any more. I’m sure there was on the Great Lakes cruise the year before which was all Tauck. Of the five Ponant trips we have taken, only one had French guests, I think that was our Panama Canal one, though I can’t remember for sure. I can’t say what champagne there was before the last two trips and I don’t particularly like it but my husband does. As far as the Makers Mark etc, we don’t drink whisky. Myself I can’t really tell the difference with other liquors, maybe my husband can, his drink is Grey Goose up with a twist, and they did not have that either this past trip. No big deal,
We drink scotch and Glenmorangie was included in the Norway tour. That was fine for us. We had nothing to complain about regarding the drink package.
